So much suffering in the world and it is felt by everyone to one degree or another.
A. Sometimes people suffer as a result of their own choices and actions.
B. Sometimes we suffer because of irresponsibility - Prov. 13: 15-21
I. What about the innocent, why would God allow the Just and Righteous to suffer?
A. Suffering not always because of wrong doing, it's "human nature" find fault for wrong
doing. Jn. 9:1-3, LK 13: 4-5
B. Adam's sin brought sin and suffering into the world. Rom. 5:12-21
C. Suffering and Death brought about by the sin of Adam. 1 Cor. 15: 21-22, Gen 3:1-19
D. The innocent suffer, but if they are faithful to God's word they will have life everlasting.

IV. At the age of accountability, our eyes are open to sin. Rom. 3:23 and Rom 3: 10-12
A. Why is there so much sickness, childhood diseases, Cancer, birth defects? (All of these
are brought about because of sin)
B. As with the illness so is the cure. II Pt. 3:9, 2 Tim. 2:4.
C. Gospel is God's power to save. Rom. 1:16-17, 23
D. Put on Christ in the watery grave of baptism. Gal. 3:27, Rom. 6: 1-13
In Conclusion: The innocent suffer as a result of sin and death in the world.
1. The innocent can and do suffer in this life, it's not fair but that is life.
2. Christ came into the world to save sinners and give LIFE EVERLASTING.
